At first when I saw Firas's MOC, it was a Hummer. At that time, our Firas haven't really master up the skill of photography. But as the time go on, he slowly improve his skill until I'm truly impressed by his Reventon. At first I show a report from the motorshow, I think that this car is impossible to transform into bricks. However when I saw the creation, I doubt that is it a model or LEGO? Well, Mr.Firas is truly a pure car guy with fantastic skill. My favorite? No doubt, the R8.
Let's start the interview
1. Please talk briefly about yourself.
I'm an AFOL who have been building with LEGO since I was a very little kid (don't remember the exact age)
2. When you start playing LEGO? Which set if your very first set?
I started my journey with some Duplo sets, then when I became over 5 I started to get normal LEGO sets, the funny thing that I was a Space LEGO kid, everything I used to buy was almost Space, from M-Tron to Space Police to Black Tron... Any one might ask how I became a car guy; ok, my changing point was with the first Model-Team set released, I just impressed by the size the build and the details of those sets, I still have the Helicopter transporter set no 5590 and the white American style Rig set as well.
3. What is your favorite creation among your MOC? Why you like it?
So, I'm mainly a car guy, but you might see some non-car MOCs from time to time, I've combined my love of cars and LEGO together, so I always try my best to build my favorite cars with LEGO. About my favorite creation among my models is the Shelby GT500 Super Snake, then the Ford GT right after it. I'm not sure why I like it the most; may be cause it's my favorite car in real life, and may be also cause it's my first creation that have made it to a several great blogs and sites around the web including LMAL Radio eps. #72 year in review as one of the best LEGO creations in the year 2008.
4. Any dream set that you want?
About my sets and bricks, till now I have never ordered pieces online, I get my bricks from LEGO sets that I buy, of course I usually get the Ferrari sets and some other Racer ones, and I don't think I still have any dream set, I've almost got every set I like, and I'm waiting for the Gallardo set.
